Jan Booth new Vice President of NOEA

Jan Booth, our very own Managing Director has been elected as the new Vice President of the National Outdoor Event Association (NOEA) in this November’s annual general meeting.

NOEA is the leading trade body for organisers and suppliers in the UK outdoor event industry bringing together local authorities, organisers, promoters, venues and suppliers to share problems, enhance professionalism and create business opportunities. They host a wide range of events including regional workshops and conferences, annual conventions and tribute celebration evenings.

Jan has had an active role in the NOEA convention for the last five years, is a director on the board of the Tennis Industry Association and has been for the last six years, so brings a wealth of experience to NOEA.

Jan said:

“I am delighted to have been selected for the panel and would like to thank everyone who voted for me. The amount of support that I have received has been tremendous. I am a longstanding supporter of the council and its work and believe that I can bring ideas to the table that will help stand NOEA in good stead for the future.

“As a small company with over a decade’s experience of working with big events, we truly understand every perspective of being a supplier and organiser in the outdoor events industry. I hope I can help keep the focus on our members, listening to their thoughts, helping their businesses through networking and by promoting impactful motions as an association.”

Jan’s wealth of experience stems from working across the spectrum of events, with Sunbaba proving signage and branding to festivals, concerts, sporting events, exhibitions, corporate events and working with the construction sector. Jan has worked with events both large and small ranging from local fêtes through to complete branding solutions for events such as the Lovebox, AEGON International Tennis and the Innocent Festival.
