The iconic structure of Battersea Power station has been used as the stunning backdrop to a brand launch that saw giant images and video projected on to the outside of the building. Organised by specialist agency Drive Productions, the spectacle was possible thanks to the installation of a giant temporary screen supplied by branding specialists Sunbaba.

Lighting up London with EE building wrap

Based on the proven air permeable Austronet, the screen was made up from six overlapping sections and finished with special Velcro flaps to create the giant 22 x 40m screen.

The projection specialists specified Grey Austronet 203FR as it provides greater clarity to the images and videos during a display. Star Events Group we’re the venue structural & rigging contractor and installed the screen and supporting structure and have previous experience working on events at Battersea.

Commenting on the project, Sunbaba technical director Trevor Booth said:

“We were delighted with the final result, which was one of the largest finished areas we have ever put up. The screen was actually erected between two of the corner sections that support the famous towers, which created a truly remarkable visual effect.”
