CiCLO technology works by adding a biodegradable additive directly into the fibres during the manufacturing process. This promotes natural breakdown in moisture-rich environments. Laboratory tests show an impressive biodegradation rate of up to 94% in marine settings and 91% in soil, without compromising the fabric’s performance.
