As a leading supplier of building and scaffolding wraps to the events and construction industry, across the UK and Europe, Sunbaba was delighted to be asked by South Central Management to produce two building wrap banners for the launch of Two Fifty One. The brand new 41-storey mixed use development on Southwark Bridge Road, Elephant & Castle, London was built by Oakmayne Properties, in one of the Capital’s most rapidly developing, commercial, cultural and residential districts.
The prestigious development includes: apartments, gymnasium, restaurant, screening room, club room and concierge. The product launch was held in the Shard, offering a unique customer perspective by allowing prospective purchasers to view the development and the banners from above.
The building wraps banners were custom sized and printed on Sunbaba’s DigiSound, our most air permeable PVC mesh and normally used for PA Scrims as its sound transparent. DigiSound’s open weave ensures a high air flow and therefore reduces wind loading on the banner and ensures that it is both flexible and solid at the same time.
The banners were digitally printed using UV inks, providing vivid colour and sharpness to the Two Fifty One logo. The PVC solution provided is suitable for both internal and external use and was finished with pockets and eyelets to ensure ease of installation.
The building wrap provided a dual purpose; firstly, concealing the construction site and secondly providing an extremely effective, high profile opportunity to promote the Two Fifty One brand to the audience at the launch and to the passing public.
